Criminal defense attorney Katherine “Trina” Griffiths, has the knowledge, expertise, and experience to successfully fight for your rights. With nearly twenty years of criminal law experience throughout the state of Georgia, Trina is an exceptional advocate for anyone undergoing the often daunting criminal justice system. Trina earned her Juris Doctor in 1989 from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law, where she graduated in the top 25 percent of her class, made Dean’s List numerous times, was inducted into the Moot Court Honor Society, and was elected as the Honor Court Prosecutor. She scored 95th percentile on the National Bar Exam following her graduation from law school.
Trina moved to the Atlanta area and practiced civil litigation until 1996 when she began her legal calling in criminal law. After working as a prosecutor in Cobb County for over a decade, she was recruited to a boutique DUI defense law firm in midtown Atlanta. There she has won numerous jury acquittals and favorable pre-trial resolutions for her clients. Whether you face a DUI, drug, misdemeanor or felony charge or a probation violation, Trina represents each and every client with skill, integrity, and strength.
Trina is a member of the National College for DUI Defense, a member of the Cobb County Bar Association, has participated in the national DUI defense seminars at Harvard Law School, taught at ICLE DUI seminars, and has successfully argued before the Georgia Supreme Court and the Georgia Court of Appeals.
